Cancellation & Refund Policy

Please review our strict refund guidelines for service & government fees.

At Legal Fox India ("Company", "We"), we strive to provide transparent and efficient service. However, due to the nature of legal and administrative work, significant costs are incurred immediately upon the initiation of a service. This policy outlines when refunds are applicable and when they are not.

1. GENERAL TERMS

By making a payment on Legal Fox India, you acknowledge that our services involve the expertise of professionals and the use of proprietary technology. Once a service execution has begun, the time and effort spent cannot be reclaimed.

2. STRICTLY NON-REFUNDABLE ITEMS

IMPORTANT: NO REFUNDS ON GOVERNMENT FEES

Under no circumstances will Legal Fox India refund fees that have been paid to:

Government Authorities: Stamp duty, court fees, registration fees, challans, or penalties.
Third-Party Professionals: Fees already disbursed to independent Advocates, Chartered Accountants, or Notaries.

Once these payments are made on your behalf, they are non-recoverable by us, and therefore non-refundable to you.

3. CANCELLATION WINDOW

You may cancel your request for services under the following strict timelines:

Before Processing: If you request cancellation within 4 hours of making the payment AND before our team has started processing your documents or assigned an Advocate, you are eligible for a refund of the Platform Fee (minus a 5% payment gateway processing charge).
After Processing Begins: If our team has already drafted documents, verified data, or assigned an Advocate, NO REFUND will be issued, even if the final submission to the government or court has not yet occurred.

4. ELIGIBILITY FOR REFUND

Refunds are only considered under the following specific circumstances:

Duplicate Payment: If you accidentally paid twice for the exact same service reference number.
Service Failure: If Legal Fox India fails to deliver the draft/service within 45 working days of receiving all correct documents from you (excluding delays caused by the government or the user's failure to respond).

5. REFUND PROCESSING TIMELINE

If a refund request is approved by our Finance Department:

The refund will be processed to the original method of payment only.
Processing time is typically 7-10 business days for the amount to reflect in your bank account, depending on your bank's policy.

6. "CHANGE OF MIND" POLICY

We do not offer refunds for "Change of Mind" after work has commenced. This includes scenarios such as:

You found a cheaper service provider or lawyer elsewhere after engaging us.
You decided not to pursue the legal matter anymore.
You are unhappy with the outcome of a court case (we guarantee service delivery, not legal outcomes).

7. CHARGEBACKS & DISPUTES

Raising a chargeback with your credit card provider or bank without first contacting our support team to resolve the issue is considered a breach of our Terms. In such cases, Legal Fox India reserves the right to suspend your account, pause all ongoing legal work, and report the incident to relevant credit bureaus.
